Looking back from the cab, my tailgate doesn't look like it closes all the way. I can see light coming through in both corners of the tailgate when it is closed. However, standing at the back of the truck, it is set flush with the taillights and rear panels. Does everyone's look like this?

Every truck I have look at, looks this way, there are gaps. And also on some I have noticed that the tailgate is not centered or is off to one side. Just what I've noticed.

The gaps in the Titan are a lot bigger than any other truck I've ever had. I assumed all the Titans were like this, but I wanted to make sure.

gtshouse... I whould have to agree with you. Every truck I have owned has not had the gaps like the Titan. If you want you can buy some tailgate wather-stirping or molding to give a dust and water seal.
