With filter change 6.5 qt, without filter change 6.25 qt. My Titan always take exactly 7qt (which put me a little bit over the mark).

I have had the same problem took in at the dealer they replaced cap and pressure checked cooling system no leak found and noted "water spots" months go by at next oil change coolant
Every where but this time notice where it was coming from the over flow house took off clamp and replaced seems to of fix problem
TB bypass eliminates coolant from flowing through the TB. Warming TB temps in winter improves performance. Eliminate hot coolant the TB in the summer should = more HP. I performed this mod on my 350z which required a kit. That kit warned not by-pass below 55F.

I confirmed cooler operation with an infrared thermometer. It did make a difference.
i just did mine today but make sure the truck is cold!!! i did it when the truck was hot. i burned the **** out of my chest when i was leaning over my truck and i unplugged the small hose where the radiator coolant returns to the radiator, it sprayed right up at me!!!! its a good mod because in hot weather it keeps your throttlebody cooler than when it has the water running through it.

Blinker/headlight fluid here.

Saw a thread somewhere on this where they had ball valves installed so you could turn it on and turn it off with a couple of handles. Does anyone remember where that was or have seen it with a link to it?

Here it is
http://www.titantalk.com/forums/tit...tions/29241-tb-coolant-bypass-mod-twist.html?

I have always wonder with the valve, even when it's closed off wouldn't the coolant still back wash into the TB since it's only close on once side? I would think you would need two valve.
what happens when you drive in weather less than 55 degrees? i live in florida but drive to georgia often in the winter.

The one I did see had the two valves and not just one, however, I would think that there should be some other kind of recirc, just to keep from dead heading that pressure. I swear I saw a thread on that somewhere, will have to keep looking.

The caps on the '05's suck, I had to have mine replaced. Once I swapped it out, it was fine...........

I Agree. Do it when your engine is cold. I did mine the other day.well got it done the other day. Went to autozone and being i go there alot some of the ppl know me. I showed him what I wanted to do and he did it for me. He had on gloves and when he unpluged one of the hoses it still burned him:lol: . It was pretty funny. It cost me like 2.74 just for the hose and he also did it for me lol. So it worked out pretty good for me. Spent 2$ and got someone to do it for me and got the hose to use also
