I just installed my Tech12Volt subs and enclosures today and it slams!!!!....and I mean slams!!! Four 10” Boston Acoustics G1’s in a custom Tech box; what more can you ask for. These SOB’s hit hard and have exceeded my expectations while delivering clean and accurate bass.
One of my biggest worries when I started thinking about adding subs was losing low end bass due to the limited about of space to put enclosures in the Titan. This setup definitely stood up to the challenge and delivers low clean bass without sounding muggy. I haven’t heard many systems in Titan’s but this has to be one of the loudest that you can do without some sort of seat lift.
Those of you who have been members here for a while already know that that James is the man. I’ve been working on this system in some form or fashion for months now with a lot of my time spent on research and bugging the hell out of people with questions. James has always been front and center to help along the way even when I had doubts of his advice. I had to call James today to help me with the speaker wiring while I was doing my install. I was surprise as hell when he call back later to see how things had gone and if there was anything else that I needed….man, talk about costumer service! Just so happen that James called just when I was finishing up. At that time, I had the system going but didn’t have a chance to really turn things up due to the neighborhood that I live in. At any rate I was about to drive to a local park and do some tuning to the amp and see what this puppy could do. Well, I say I was going to do some tuning but the truth is, there are more controls on this Sundown that I didn’t understand and I was glad as hell that James called. He told me just what I needed to do to adjust the amp and even remembered what kind of radio I had. I didn’t really make it to the Park because when I got out of the neighborhood, I let the volume rip and the adjustments that James had me make were right on the money…no other adjustments needed.
If you are looking for subs for your ride and like it loud than this is one to consider this setup. I’m 200% satisfied and know that I’ll be doing business with James again….Still have to get those Boston Pros! Thanks for being a class act Tech. Those of us here at Titan talk who are audio lovers are truly lucky that you choose to spend your time here.
OH yeah…I know, where are the pictures? It was dark when I finished today so pictures will have to come later towards the end of the week. I work late during the week and its pretty dark when I get home now.
