K, well i try to keep the titan interior smelling fresh, and since my a/c had a feint odor smell like water getting in there and smelling musty i needed a fix. Granted this doesn't happen all the time... anyway..

I've tried febreeze, which works temporairly but if you let it circulate it will cause the vinegar smell in the cabin after a day... I've tried cologne at times and even dryer sheets...

Until my buddy showed me this stuff you can buy at WALMART!

OZIUM

Some people like it and some people don't. However, this stuff works great at killing odors and the smell isn't bad at all..

Just spray it (hold your breath cuz its strong), close the door and let it sit for about 5mins, then open up and let fresh air in... and then no more stinky odor from pets, smoking, kids, etc etc...

The absolute best way to prevent the "musty" smell in your AC is to turn the AC off before you full arrive at your destination. Not the fan, just the AC button. I always do this and do it with enough time to allow the air to dry up as much moisture in the tubing as possible.

hahahaha.

The cabin filters with the carbon have stopped the A/C smell in my truck. But I do have a bad smell from the MLV I put down during my sound deadening project. Maybe this stuff will help.

I have a bar of irish spring under my seat and the truck always smells good. And in case I need to do an emergency roadside shower, I'm ready!

Dayumit JIM (HRTKD) i'm a doctor not a Ozone specialist lol (lil star trek nerdery) Yeah so basically don't sit in the truck while you spray the OZIUM, which if you can then power to ya, that stuff takes the air outta your lungs with just one tiny whiff... OZIUM is extremely strong!

maybe i can de sanitize those peanut butter M&Ms under my seat that have been there for a few weeks and try em out! lol

However the general rule of thumb with odors is... "If IT smells like Cologne...leave IT alone!" lol

LOL! Dude! This stuff will kill your marijuana! Amazon.com: Rebecca A. Stockard's review of OZIUM AIR SANITIZER 3.5 OZ BY MEDO (OZM-1)...

I'm not one to put a whole lot of stock in what the Natural Resources Defense Council says or what the CA EPA says but you might want to read this: What Is Ozium? | eHow.com. Here is the original report: http://www.nrdc.org/health/home/airfresheners/airfresheners.pdf
 Funny you mention that. That's what me and my buddies used to use to eliminate the smell of our dank. It works. Though, I've never had my sack open when it was sprayed, so I don't know if it "kills" bud. :dunno: I used to keep a can in my glove compartment.

I can't recall where I read it on the forum, but someone suggested spraying Lysol disinfecting spray through the truck AC system. Remove your cabin air filter. Turn the AC to high, and spray it in through the grate in the wiper cowl (the intake area for the AC). Once the truck smells like Lysol, shut the AC off, leave the blower on high, but let the air run until the system is dry. Repeat a couple of times. I did this a while back, and the musty AC smell had been gone for a few months now.

When i bought my Titan, the guy had black ice and Wild cherry scents both hanging form the mirror. Ive had plenty of compliments and think its a unique and great smell myself.

I was researching Ozium and found this old thread, thought I'd share my experience.

I just used one of these and it worked really well - https://www.biocidesystems.com/auto-shocker-clo2-odor-eliminator-quick-release

I bought 2, I plan on using the second one before too long. The downside is that they recommend letting it go for up to 24 hours, and you need to keep your truck out of sunlight during that time for best results. My truck had Armor-All, air fresheners, and smoke when I bought it. After I did this it just smelled like a pool for a few days. The smell is way better, although after a few weeks I can start to detect a little smoke again. I'm pretty sure it's coming from the headliner. I will say that after using the first one and putting in some activated carbon air filters, the air quality felt really clean in the truck, like I was breathing purified air.

If you're fighting smells, I'd recommend the biocide shockers.
