Congratulations sweet truck!
Lee-the-Impaler said:Friends..allies..Titan owners.. and all those willing to trash their ride for the sake of a paycheck or a photo-op!.. My thanks to all those who voted for me.. and my everlasting disdain and wrath for those who didn't vote for the guy I voted for (the cranky and old comment had me at 'cranky')..but seriously...
I'm thrilled to be a part of the TT community. The wealth of information on here has made me leaps and bounds more confident that I just MIGHT fall apart before my truck does.
Just being able to communicate daily with people who have no qualms about taking a perfectly good pickup, spending hundreds of dollars, and/or hundreds of hours, tearing it apart and changing something that worked already just to make it THEIR OWN and set it apart from the rest is a great experience.
Equally as enjoyable is talking to the new people that just want to save a buck on repairs (I was raised a cheap bastard and hope to pass that to my kids) or who have NO CLUE about anything mechanical ( As I did not too many years ago) as they seek to better their knowledge and skill-set while feeling the pride of ownership and independence.
I hadn't planned on entering for several years yet, but the category defines the use I put my T through daily and I couldn't resist.
"What good is a truck if it doesn't earn it's own keep?" Got me through the heartache of my first paint-scratch on a fishing trip, and the two months when my T was in the body-shop after a water truck shredded the passenger side on the way to work.
Y'all are awesome..I don't care what I say about you..in my book y'all're alright,
Particular thanks to Van for keeping this fun TOTM gig running, and to those who jumped in and entered because without participation, TOTM would die despite his best efforts.
Lets see 20 entrants and 100 votes for October!
Keep driving, hauling, towing, racing, working, travelling, twisting, breaking, fixing, and modding folks...that's what having a Titan is all about!
Next month is PreRunner, November is Military, and December is open. PM me suggestions and what qualifies for your suggested category.Congrats. Can we have a "street queen" category one of these months? Lol
