I have driven Dodges for the last 10 years and have had very few problems with other drivers. I am a conservative driver and have not had a ticket in 30 years. I purchased a Smoke SE King Cab 45 days ago and things heve changed. I have been involved in two road rage incidents (their rage, not mine), I have had to avoid numerous collisions with butthead motorist that seemed "out to get me" and, this is no surprise, most of the offenders were in other brands of pickups.

The question is: Do we attract goblins or what? Have any of you experienced this phenomenon or is it just me? I am beginning to think that Nissan should include a concealed handgun license with the purchase of a Titan. Can this be Titan envy.

I had an idiot last night decide that he wanted to sit around 5ft off my a$$ ... tapped my brakes at him (as they teach you to do in defensive driving) but he figured traffic wasn't going fast enough....came flying around me (while shootin me the finger) and was in and out of traffic until he turned off on some side street. Wasn't in a truck or anything, just a little Toyota Corolla. Guess he doesn't understand the difference in weight being my Titan and his little Corolla and what would happen had he ended up under my bumper had I actually had to stop quickly. One more reason I want to buy a trailer hitch - just so that if one day that happens, someone gets a hitch in their radiator. Oh well, you have all kinds...haven't had many instances of other trucks wanting to get me racing or anything, just idiots in little cars. Not gonna race them, smart enough to know that a little CRX is gonna smoke me (yes they will regardless of the power of the Titan - little thing called weight difference).

This isn't anything close to that, but 2 days ago I came out of the grocery store and someone decided to park there buggy up against my rear bumper.
The buggy corral was on the other side of the isle four spots down from my truck. (no wind, flat parking lot) No damage though. Go figure :sex0rs:

You're definitely NOT alone! The green-eyed monster drives the domestic brands and doesn't have a license!
I was always a "car" guy until my 02 Frontier. Small/midsize truck owners seem to be friendly and cordial. I've come to find out (since buying my Titan) that these guys driving these huge lifted domestic bohemoths, who usually tow nothing, haul nothing, and no more need a big truck than the man in the moon, have chips on their shoulders and see their trucks as extensions of their apparent lacking manhood! They feel threatened by us, plain and simple. The new kid on the block has bumped the big 3 off the top of the heap and they're pissed.
Now...lol...of course that doesn't hold true for em' all. But most domestic "truck" guys I see, whether it be at the gas station or whatever, won't say a word...nothing. And you can see them checking the truck out while you're not looking...lol. Dodge owners seem to be the worst of the bunch too! :bangit:

LMFAO!! HudsonValley, this is SOOO true. LOL!! I always catch "other brand" truck owners eye balling my truck at the gas pump or in the parking lot someplace. You can see them scoping it out in the window reflection or bumper reflection when they think your back is turned. Their heads will follow you as you drive off down the road too. I like to give her a little extra gas to let the dual flowmasters open up a bit so that they have no doubt that, yes....it IS a V8. :eveilgrin

The car you drive dictates the personality of the driver

1. Guy with attitude
2. Racer with 305hp behind the foot
3. 7 Second 0-60

enough said. hahaha jk

I passed up a guy in a Super *Dump* F350 Dually today. He was going 55 in a 55 and I was in a hurry. I hung behind him for a while, but wasn't tailgating by any means. As soon as I got to a straight-a-way where I could pass, I let the 5 spd have it! I flew by the guy at about 80 and let off the gas to slow to 65. I looked in the rear view and the guys was flipping me off!

I've also noticed that deer like the Titan too! In the 2 years I've lived in this area, I've never had any deer jump out in front of me. Since I got my truck 3 weeks ago, I've had 2 deer do brake checks on me!

No kidding! Last week I was coming home from work at 3:00 in the morning minding my own business doing 70 MPH in a 65 MPH zone on an old deserted 2 lane when something just didn't seem right. Well what wasn't right was that the white lines down the center of the road had disappeared?
They had disappeared because a whole herd of black cows had knocked down the electric fence and where just milling around in the middle of the highway. First i got the Titan stopped, then I called the Sheriff, then I took my underware off and threw them at the cows. :deadcow:

Anyway, this truck will decelerate in a hurry.

Just smile, turn the other cheak. It aint worth it.

You have the power Luke, the force (305 hp) is with you. The power of restraint is the ultimate power...Well, unless they really Pi$$ you off...

Funny, I've had the opposite reaction from others (must be the Minnesota nice thing). Most who see my truck up close say "nice truck" or "how do you like your truck?".

I had a Grand Prix try to take me at a light in my little home town just a few days ago. We were both sitting at the light and once you get through the light, the left lane (which I was in) merges into the right. So he was going to be a smart aleck and try to get me. I was slow off the light, but I still got him. My 3 boys in the back seat think that truck is awesome, now the REALLY think it's awesome. They're always telling to to pass people up, then I have to explain the speed limit to them.

They dont teach you that in defensive driving. Its illegal and if he hit you and had a witness it would be your fault. Speed up or get out of the way.
