I don't have the Titan, but if i did that tonneau DOES look pretty good and I'd also be tempted to get it! I hope they have one for ya.

My neighbor has one 3 years old, and it is failing quickly. It no longer locks, and has been known on occation to fly off while on the highway. It may not be the same brand, but be careful!
that would be scary as hell seeing something that big and sturdy fyling at me at 70mph. :huh: after hearing that i think i may strike this one off my list of options.
That one looks similar to the one advertised by Peragon. THey will not make one for the Titan due to the lack of space between the front of the bed and the wheel wells.

I have contacted them about their offer to use my Titan CC as a test platform and will keep everyone updated with the progress of the design for the Crew Cabs and those with the Utili-Trac System. Also let me know if anyone is interested in a group buy and i'll start a list.

I followed up with Peragon regarding the possibility of a group buy.

I'm out, as I broke down on Friday and bought a simple roll-up type cover. I decided that it would suit my needs for now.

We do now have covers for both the King Cab and Crew Cab versions. Just so you know, our cover will not work with the Utili-Track system. If a Titan has it, it will need to be removed to install our cover. Also, right now with our special price promotion, our production is sold out 6 weeks in advance. For a group buy, the discount will come in the form of a rebate credit after the correct number of orders has been received to achieve the group buy level. Try www.checkerpro.com. Mine if the Fx model. They make a fiberglass one-piece unit. I have used these on my last three trucks. They can be made with locks, lights, quick-release hinges, etc. I got mine in about 8 days from order time. They are fibergalss with an aluminum rail all around it. Weighs about 60 pounds and can be removed in about three minutes with the quick relaes hinges. Here are a couple of pictures of it on my Titan. With the tailgate lock, it gives me a huge trunk to carry tools, luggage etc. It keeps out almost all rain, the gaps in the tailgate cause a little water to get into the back of the bed. They make each one according to your measurements, in case the bed isn't totally square, so it makes for a good fit.

I'm thinking about being a copy-cat. I like the flat appearence of the Checkerpro cover. Did you remove the factory polyliner from your truck? The checkerpro site seems to show some hook like devices connecting to the side of the truck, is this correct? I notice also that you have left on the bedrail caps, was this just personal preference?

The cover I have has two snap locks inside the bed to lock it without the latch being visible. You can also get the cover with two key locks on top. It has gas shocks to hold it up when you open it. Mine is black as it came from the factory. I have seen them sprayed with Rhino or Line-X, and painted to match the truck.my0my0my said:KYDeepwater,

I didn't get any liner from the dealer because I knew I was going to get this cover, since I carry around tools and a mower a lot. I might get a Rhino or Line-X in a couple of years when I scratch this bed all up moving rocks, wood, etc.
