2005 titan le tow package 20" rims 285/50 tires. Belltech package 438sp 2/4package was bought first. It comes with the lowering struts, rear leafs w/flip kit, rear shocks(all shocks and struts are their Performance stuff). I lowered my truck thinking I would get better handling by dropping the center of gravity and hey belltech claims the shocks and struts are for performance soooo. I also bought the belltech front anti sway bar.
IN MY OPINION, the front lowering struts stamped 2007 did this even on the highway:redblob". High speeds were out of the question and my dads old 70's buick century(probably weighed as much as the titan) handled better at over 100mph. Belltech then sold me the 2" lowering springs at regular price and sent me some new 2010 stamped front struts and I was told to run those at the stock height to correct the crappy ride. I was set to do the coil and strut swap that weekend and when I got the package they only sent one strut. The follow week the next day air the other strut.
The springs help the boating of the frontend a lot but not enough in my opinion to call any part of this mod performance. It is all looks and the ride inside was ok to now where I am sick of it. I am 34 1/8" at the rear and 32 1/4" and thought like the other lowering kits the idea was to get the truck even. I have emailed belltech with no replies on that subject. It appears you would need the shackles to even the truck out front to back. Belltech has two different answers as to why they don't make the front lowering spindles, one is there is not a market for it and the other was that the titan design was flawed or to troublesome to design the spindle.
Belltech also will remind you that you are driving a lowered truck when you call and ask why is the ride so crappy. This to me is a bs excuse. Its the same thing you here about lift kits that arn't done right. If I had the money to make a kit for all titans there is no way I could ride in my truck and say, "yep this is a good as my company can get this, now lets sell it as is". I made a big mistake and have contacted Greg at PRG to help me get what I am looking for (a sporttruck suspension/highway use, high speeds etc.) I could have saved a lot of time and money if I had just called greg first. As soon as I can it looks like radflo coilovers for the front, custom bilsteins for the back with a leaf removed(stock leafs) and a prg shackle, rear anti sway bar. I may even get rid of my anti sway bar for the front. Maybe the belltech shocks on the back will work until I can afford the billsteins? So after hours of work and money spent I have a cool looking Titan that everyone seems to love but I dread riding in everyday. :bangit:

Which pic is with the PRG's solution Slade? Look badazz by the way. Sorry to hear about the wasted money on the drop kit. Thanks for the headups on PRG.

Below is mine with the stock springs, rear leaf removal, PRG adj. shackles (lowest setting), RAS, HD Bilsteins, with 265-70/17's.
My rear is 1" higher due to the RAS, but I can adjust 'em down. Ride and handles better than stock, but bottoms out occasionally on potholes.

I have about 1" between the stock bumpstops front and 1-1/2" in back.

To me it look like the fronts BS need to be cut off at the frame for it to work with anything less than stock height. The back could possibly get by with just cutting half the rubber BS at the leafs.

Are the PRG coilover/shock combo stiff enough for 'em not to hit the stock bumpstops? Or did you modified 'em? I might do your combo..

Well, it does look Very Good having been dropped that low... Kinda figured the ride would've suffered but not as bad as you have experienced, that's too bad... I think you may just need heavier rated coils to help stiffen up the front end..

thanks for the compliments, it gets lots of looks especially from other titan drivers going by. All of those pics are with the belltech parts. I have been playing email tag with greg. I still need parts and a weekend to do the swap or upgrade. I can do the front in minutes but the first time around took forever because the back shock bolts wouldnt loosen. I did everything by myself which sucked and I was pretty beat up. It took 4ft and 6ft pipes over breaker bars on the bolthead and nut side plus a big neighbor to break the shock bolts loose. I will let you know the results of gregs suggestions once I get it all done. Thanks for picture of yours it helps. I saw a chevy at lunch today and this is where I was going with the Titan but without the proper parts available I don't think it will ever happen unless I drive down to west coast customs and get into my kids college fund(not). My front bs are about a C hair from touching at rest. Belltech gives you shorter bs for the rear which were if I remember right were about an 1" or so shorter so I don't bottom out in the rear. The bs in the front are not the big issue.. the front still moving like a hobby horse up and down is.

I know the sway bar up front helps resonate the bumps wheel to wheel but even if I removed it I think it would still boat up and down. After working on this so much I agree.. to me if I would have had the same rated spring but only one inch lower or stock height may have worked like the radflos. The 2" lower springs from belltech weighs approx. 3lbs more than stock( i weighed them) and I was told they are 30% stiffer allegedly.

man that sucks I know how you feel, took me all weekend to put on my kit and then didn't quite ride like i wanted it to. But I don't have any problems on the highway, and if I had smooth roads around here I think it would be fine. Think I I've just gotten used to it and doesn't bother me now. I used the adjustable belltech struts up front with the stock coils, I heard if I switched to 4x4 coils it would be better.

damn dude, I know that belltech kit costs some dough and the thing that sucks for you is that I had the springtech kit which was way cheaper and had the same exact results. guess you just dont always get what you pay for, and that sucks. if you take off your front bumpstops all together it wont bottom out as easy but when it does bottom out your gonna get metal to metal contact. I wish I would have taken my lowering kit off my other truck and sold it to you so you could have saved some money and headachs. man you may as well just break down and buy some spindles, but you already know that by now right.

I know at first I thought it wasn't so bad but now it has just worn on me and just is not what I was looking for in a performance set up. The 4x4 springs are rated 100lbs more than the 2wd springs and I was looking hard at my theroy of just a stock height stiffer spring and bringing the rear down to match the front but.... greg at prg actually raced a titan on a track I have raced a gsxr1000 on (willow springs raceway) with his set up so to me he has to know what the heck to do with this thing. He also towed a 5000lbs trailer to the track with the titan he raced with the same set up.

Here's a few pics of the rear bstop and other stuff in case someone needs them.

? don't know figure 650 plus for the front radflo's plus 100 plus for the shackles.. my current plan without talking to greg about prices on the phone yet is to go radflos upfront see if I can get away with using my current belltech perf. rear shocks with the leaf changes he suggested earlier.
I currently have the first set of belltech lowering raising struts on craigslist for $120.
Nissan Armada Titan Belltech front lowering/stock/lifting struts/shock

I perfer local deals because the feeling of wanting to kill someone just ruins my family time:flame: I guess I might have to make an exception if things don't sell.. but the belltech flip kit, rear shocks, 2nd set of front struts, 2" lower coil springs etc will all be fire sold if greg's set up works for me. I will pm you when I know more. thanks

Man, i just looked at the pic's & posted before... That's suck's man! The truck look's great!!! I can't believe they would make a kit that performed so badly & horrible customer service! If i do end up lowering my T than i'm definitely talking to Greg, because i would want it to be able to perform well at high speed's...for a truck. :eyebrow:

dude... I ran into to red robin last night to grab some take out at the mall and the GF hopped in the driver seat to pick me up. As I am walking out with the food I saw the titan pull up with hid lows and fogs on, rumbling like a nascar in the pits. I thought damn that thing looks mean.. opened the door and all the LEDs kicked on saw my smokin hot GF behind the wheel.. I was feelin good. Then we drove for about a mile and I thought "damn it":redblob"

Dude. LMAO! Funny thing is as I was writing it I started thinking the same thing.. that it sounded like one of those letters to penthouse or hustler. I could write some good ones after living in vegas for over 15 years now.. However, it wouldn't help the "keep my kids off the pole" campaign I run at my house at all.. if they ever read one of my stories.

Don't buy the Radflo coilovers from PRG.....unless you want to remove and have them rebuilt every year! Greg talks a big game on the phone. His "street" setup has been nothing but headaches for me, and he is NO help after the sale.

Buy a McGaugheys kit and some Bilstein's if you want a reliable setup.
