Well, last night was the coldest night of the year so far in the South with the temperature hovering around and touching freezing. I get out of a 4-hour tutoring session to find my truck with the SES light on.

I come home and runit with my Superchips FlashPaq and it's showing PO153 and PO133. These codes are:

PO153: Oxy Sens Circ Slow Response (Bank2-Sens1)
PO133: Oxy Sens Circ Slow Response (Bank1-Sens1)

I've thrown these codes before and the problem was a dirty air filter. I pulled the filter last night and the lower right hand corner was black. So, I flipped it around like I did last time hoping that would clear the code, but my SES light is still on. Is it still on because it threw the code once and it will stay on until cleared, or are the O2 Sensors still reading that I'm running rich?

Should I clear the DTC's or just wait it out?

Also, I'm due for a new air filter in about 2500 miles for my 45,000 mile service. Do I need to change the air filter or can I just run around with it flipped for the next 2500 miles?

Thanks fellas.

Clear the codes and see if they come back.
