Man, I must be doing something wrong. The only comments I get are “your truck is gay”.Every time I drive my truck I get compliments from someone saying "Nice Truck"
My first Titan was a 2005 LE crew cab, what a great truck. The Gen 1 trucks look so different. They really stood out in the looks department and how much stuff they came with. They are still a great looking truck compared to lots of stuff on the road
Here in south Texas it’s “man that truck is nice and if it had Ford badging on it I would buy one”….Man, I must be doing something wrong. The only comments I get are “your truck is gay”.
Gets a chuckle out of me, but c’mon man. The ‘04 is old enough to vote now.
It's two wheel driveIs your dad's 2 wheel or 4 wheel drive?
Those are people that have a closed mind and can’t think for themselves. My son in law has a F-350, 450 and 550 as his company trucks along with his two Peterbilt’s but has driven in mine from NJ to Florida and back and said what a great truck! He said if he could use a gasoline pickup he’d buy one. So people just missed the boat it appears. Here in south Texas it’s “man that truck is nice and if it had Ford badging on it I would buy one”….
I have chrome tow mirrors, the whole nine yards minus auto folding (which they don't do anyway...).I love my dad's. He has a heavy metal chrome crew cab in white. My buddy at work has a maroon crew cab sl too.
That's my dad's and mine

The truth is we don't really care. No judgment from the group.I noticed the same. Thinking he had already bit on it and was trying to calm his post-purchase reservations.

Yeah. My username is indicative of several past vehicles I purchased. One of them was a RAM50 truck. The goal with it was to “turn an ugly duckling into a Swan.” I paid $750 for it and drove it for 5 years. We truly wish the OP well. Hope things work out. Salvage titles aren't necessarily a death nail. Just not popular choices. There was no judgment. Just solicited opinions.
@Curran11 If you are still here, let us know what you decided. Post some pics if you bought it.
