Tire Size - 09 Titan

I've seen some similar threads out there, all good reference, but all unique in their own way, so I decided to pitch my own thread out with the question of what tires to get.

I have a 09 Titan LE, 4WD. Everything is stock, have the 20' wheels, believe the tires are 275/60/20. I'm calling some local shops around here to get things lined up for putting a 2" leveling kit (probably the Daystar) on the front end. Once that is done I'd like to get new tires.

I've been eyeballing BFG A/Ts. My concern is really around what size is the best for my truck. Been doing a bit of reading and looking at this link I found in another thread (Tire size calculator). I dont want to modify anything on my truck to adjust for rubbing, I'd like to just get something that fits right away, looks bolder than stock and is a good tire for offroad well as normal street.

Can I get some tire size recommendations from the community please? Feel free to ask questions too, appreciate the feedback!

I have the same idea as you. I ordered the PRG 2" spacer last week. Should be here this week. Subscribing. hopefully someone can help us.
I'm actually looking to down grade to 18"s. I'm not happy with the ride of the 20's.

I have 6-spoke 18s, you have 20s. Let's trade.

I'm still undecided. I'm looking to purchase a set of someone's OEMs and try them out for a little while. Then selling the one's I don't like.
Thanks NorCal 4x4, I'll take a look at those tires.
305/55/20 always looks nice. BTW... I would strongly recommend you call Greg @ PRG. Not only does he provide the best leveling kits, he is also super nice and will answer any myriad of questions you have. All of his leveling kits use top quality hardware and billet spacers instead of the rubber crap in the daystar kits. My 2 cents :)
I have an 09 4x4 and just went through the same thing. I put on a 1.5 PRG level and went with the 305/55 R20 Duratracs. They look way better then the stock size IMO. Gave the T the meaner look I was going for. I did take my front flaps of just to be safe but I do think they would fit, just being careful is all. I tihnk you would be super happy with that size!!

Here are some of my pics.....

CanadianKid - like those pics. Thats exactly what I'm looking to do.

I'm not totally sold on the Daystar's either. I wasn't looking to do the install myself, and most of the shops in town offer Daystar leveling kits with install for a decent price. I'm going to check with them to see how much they would charge to install the PRGs if I ordered them. It'll be at least a month or two, but I hope to get this all done here soon and get some pics posted.

If they arn't a$$holes they should install them for the same labor times. They really arn't that hard to install with hand tools, jack, and some wood.
I spoke to Greg at PRG, going to order the 1.5" leveling kit from him and have some friends of mine do the install. Thanks for the feedback everyone.
Here it is after the 1.5" spacer installed

Just got the PRG 1.5" leveling kit done, had a buddy install in his garage, took about 1.5 hours. Came with very good instructions. I'm off to get tires later today, I'll update with more pics after I get the tires. Going with the BFG T/A KO 305/55/20 as suggested in this forum. Talked to a few folks and it should fit just fine.
