It will rub without the pinchweld mod. You can go with some Nitto's 295/70/17.
Tire Upgrade
My stock tires are shot. They are 285-70-17. Can I upgrade with no problems to the 315-70-17 BFG ATs?????????????? I have the PRG leveling kit on my titan. Thanks

I have the same situation... I am going from 285/70717 and ordered Nitto Terra Grappler 305/70/17. I am ordering the prg 2" left... Anything else I should be aware of.

Your gas mileage will drop!
how much do you think it will drop... If I just go with smaller tires and the lift, will that be better...Is it the front lift that kills mileage or the tires
its mostly the tires that kill gas mileage. i dont have a lift, but im about to get one. and the guys at the shop told me that a lift doesnt affect gas mileage that much. its the increase in tire size thatll kill ya.

I really doubt that you if increase the size by a couple of inches it's going to have bad gas mileage. I use to have a chevy with a 9 inch lift on it running 38's and that was'nt to bad on gas. A couple inches will not affect anything except maybe better handling. Terry
