I'll be sure to let you all know by this summer. My truck will definitely see the strip once or twice this year.
Dont pay no attention too magazine articles. You guys will run much better times with your trucks. I got a 4x4 hemi, and totally stock i ran 15.1 at 88mph. Thats weighing in at 5100lb without me in it. I am 240lb.. I think you will see 2x4 titans in high 14's, and 4x4 15.1/15.2 depending on accessories. Have fun with your trucks guys..

I will not lie, so far I love my Titan just as I am sure you and others who purchased their brand of truck love theirs as well. Heck, there are a lot of things I like better about the F-150 such as option for a power-sliding rear window, power extra-cab windows (Titan KC windows don't even go down or pop out), and the fact that you don't have to purchase certain packages in order to get the packages you really wanted. Overall though, the Titan was the truck for me.
I guess what I'm trying to say is welcome and I hope you enjoy your visits to this site, however frequent or infrequent they may be.
Thanks pistonpete, I will stop by every now and then. I get bored, and surf all kinds of forums. Trucks, computers, operating systems, etc. Can learn alot of stuff off of forums. When the track opens back up after the winter i will be there trying to shave a tenth. LOL If i see any titans i will let you know what kind of times there running. I too am like you. I surf many other boards as well and read a lot of threads pertaining to cars, trucks and motorcycles. Basically, anything that moves...LOL LAtely I have been spending a lot of time on the RV boards getting info on a Travel Trailer for me and momma and that is already paying off big time. We looked at one locally that the dealer wanted almost $20k for. Through my use of the boards, I found this same model from a wholesale dealer for $13.5! When its time, you can be sure who I am gonna buy from....LOL

Wow...I'm impressed! Very refreshing to find a Hemi-Rhoid with mind. Both of my son-in-laws are Dodge owners, and one of them has a Hemi. I guess I can finally admit that they're allowed to come over to the house, from time to time.

Hemi-Rhoid Let me cool off abit :smoke: LOL! Us Dodge guys are not that bad, we are just very brand loyal. We do get alittle cocky sometimes though. LOL Titans are a super nice truck, and its nice too see imports step up, and add some power too there reliability. I wish you guys the best with your purchases. I deliver for Mopar, but alot of dealers are Mopar/Nissan dealers, so i see your trucks all the time, plus all others. If anyone has any questions about your trucks, i would be happy too ask some mechanics i know personally for ya. Not sure if i can get the right answers, but it never hurts too ask. Can you send me some of the RV links you are looking at? I'm interested in getting a small travel trailer after looking at some at a boat show last week. Wow have things changed with travel trailers since our family had one in the early '70's.

thanks for your time and interest. i almost bought a dodge i had just heard reports of really bad gas mileage and valve spring concerns. i did drive the hemi and know first hand the hemi is powerful but detuned in someway or something. the power seems limited until about 3000 rpms. but anyways thanks for your unbiased opinions as i see things a lot like you. :cheers:
