titan 18" spokes on an Xterra - can it be done?

2666 Views 12 Replies 7 Participants Last post by  claytonr24
hell yeah it can. I had them powdercoated locally and just got new tires put on. 275/70/r18 Duratracks. It did require 1.25" wheel adapters from spidertrax to change the lug pattern, but I think it works well.

started here. got them off craigslist for $250 for 5 wheels

test fit with 285/65 atko's

satin finish on the powdercoat

who doesn't like new rubber?

just before I cut 2" of fender off to make them fit

and DONE!

figured you guys would like to see this. and in case anyone else has questions, it CAN be done.

Picture uploading has been messed up for a while now. Sucks
well, you can just imagine what they look like then. lol
hopefully you can get a pic uploaded I am curious to see how this looks. Its gotta be sweet. lol
my profile pic is a small image of it. or click the link in my sig to see my build thread over on TNX
Photos should be fixed. Go back in and recopy the links and it should work.
pics are working!
Looks great man. I like the powdercoated rims (and D rings).

I just threw on a set of 275/70 duratracs yesterday. Nissan screwed up the wheel weights though so I still haven't really experienced them. Did it take much to balance yours?

That section you took out of the fender almost looks factory...at least from that side picture. I bet that took some guts to cut that section out
wow that looks REALLY good man. SWEET X

thanks! yeah, it took a TON of weight to get them balanced. It took me about 30 minutes to cut the driverside with a dremel because I was going really slowly. Burned thru 4 cutoff discs. The pass side took 5 minutes because I used a 4" grinder w/ a cutoff wheel. Looks the same. you can tell if you get up close, but from a distance, it looks great!

Thanks! I've been trying to get all this together for the better part of a year. took a body lift, suspension lift, wheel adapters, and a fender trim to get them to fit.
That's beast
