Has anyone used more affordable bed liners other than these high-end products on their Titans?

I dont like the idea of scratching the paint to make the spray-ins adhere nor using a bed rug as I will sometimes be hauling dirt which may become mud at times.

I have the Nissan bolt it bed liner for my XE, goes for about $300. So far so good, except the piece that goes on the tailgate is a little bubbled.

I have one in my '93 SEV6 KC. Has really taken a beating and still looks good. I've hauled cedar posts, t posts, barbed wire, field fence, rocks, sand and gravel, dirt, you name it. Downsides - It holds water and tends to shrink and expand with the temp. changes and the bed is probably pretty grungy underneath but it's dry where I live so I don't worry about it rusting out. Been happy with it so far (11 yrs).

I live in Ontario Canada, butown an american Titan... I havebeen having a HELL of a time finding a drop in bed liner!! I called Nissan Canada and they dont even have a drop in liner, they come with an OEM spray in liner. Ohh I should mention that I have the 8 ft box!!

Anyone have any luck?? If I cant find one I guess Im going to have to do the spray in!

Let me know,

Thanks,

Hey guys, I was wondering if you or anyone you know put their factory drop in plastic bed liner over top a spray on bed liner? I would like the dent protection of the plastic liner but I want to insure it will not scuff/scratch the metal and then trap water and rust. So I thought the spray on liner may be a good shield between the metal and the plastic liner. Any thoughts????

Not the same, but I just have a horse stall mat in mine. They are $40 at Tractor Supply. I figure the prep for a spray in scratches the bed anyways, so whenever it starts looking really bad I will get it sprayed. IIRC, this took about two years on my last truck before I needed a spray in.

Would a plastic bed liner over top spray on really help that much? I think it does not matter the truck you still have to be careful how you put stuff in the box and not drop or throw stuff down.
