The long bed, (7ft for the CC, and 8ft for the KC), will have a longer wheelbase and more payload. For the 4x4 XE the current payload is 1,349 lbs. for the 2008 4x4 XE the payload is 1,914 lbs. (565 lbs. more), based upon a Motor-Trend video I saw at another site, and the nissanusa site for the current payload.
Bigger brakes too on all '08 models. No more 17" wheels will be offered or even possible aftermarket.
