I was on the right lane to get into the highway and the dude wanted to go from the left lane onto the right and he did not see me. I was going normal speed and he was at a dead stop since light had just turned green.

IIol same thing I was thinking. My truck is loud as hell.


I just spoke with the kids dad and he knows his son messed up. But he wars me ti wait till Monday to report it. I feel like waiting cause he got 5k in damages and he does not want to total it.

What do you guys think? Just let his insurance handle it.?

There is real damage to your truck not just a deductible. Since it isn't your fault I wouldn't hesitate to report it to your insurance company.

^^^^ Don't wait. It's not your fault and there is a lot more damage than the deductible. Go ahead and report it. Make sure you give the police report number to the insurance company as well to prove it wasn't your fault.

Guy called me and it was reported to his insurance.

Police will not come when it is an accident with no injuries involved so it was pointless to call them.

Wow this was quick, called the guys insurance adjuster. He said guy accepted full responsibility and I can go pick up my rental today.
