So I noticed my truck has the famous "titan lean" that many of the 1st gens experience. It is sitting about .75" lower on the driver's side.

A couple of days ago I was going in a for a free oil change at the dealer, so I asked them to take a look at it since I was there anyways. Didn't have high expectations, but I figured it couldn't hurt. They admitted something looked funky, but weren't sure what the issue was after they looked it over for about 2 hours. They sent me on my way, and they said they would have to call a field rep in to meet me one day to check it out.

So today I'm pulling in my garage and decide I'm going to get under there myself to check it out. I was just going to look around. First thing I notice is that the paint marks on the two front springs are both different. The L/S has a blue paint mark with a part number of 54010-EZ31B. The R/S has a yellow paint mark with a part number of 54010-EZ40C.

Does anyone know for sure if these are supposed to match? I know here in Smyrna, our front springs on all models here have to match. Same part number goes on both sides. I'm thinking I may have the wrong spring on the L/S of the truck causing the lean.

If anyone has a 2nd gen and a spare minute, if you could just look underneath to see if yours match, that would be great.

So at work tonight I went out in the "yard" as we call it where all our completed cars sit waiting to be shipped out to dealers. Found two new titans and checked. They both have matching springs. So it appears I have a SV spring on the L/S and a Pro4x spring on the R/S. Off to the dealer I go tomorrow.

My SV 4x4 is the opposite about a 0.50" lower on the passenger side. I may have a Pro4x spring on the driver side and SV spring on the passenger side. I'm gonna check my springs tonight try to figure this out. thanks for bringing this to our attention!

Get under your truck and look to see what tags are on your springs. In the attached pictures, the yellow tag is on my L/S. This spring is used on SV models from what I have seen/been told. The red tag is my R/S spring. It is used on Pro4x models.

Regardless of which trim level you have, both sides should match.

Forgot to mention, I did take it to the dealer this morning. They agreed pretty quickly that it was indeed wrong after I showed them the pictures. They are ordering me another Pro4x spring, but it is one back order for a couple of weeks.
