what does the actuator do or not do ? whats the recall about ?

There are up to 2 actuaries they move doors for the heater 1 is one on drivers side that gets replaced for sure and there is another 1 on certain models on passengers side .

My 2010 has had the squeaky actuator solenoid for a couple of weeks. I didn't even know about the recall. I brought it in the same day the recall came out. Brought the truck in the next day and had them do the work. Still makes the noise, Guess they will have to replace the other motor /actuator as well.
