Thanks guys. Honestly, I wasn't too crazy about the color at first but my wife loved it and convinced me to get it. However, I'm really happy with it now and I get a tons of compliments on the color. I put a couple coats of Zaino polish on it last weekend and it looks even more amazing.
When I saw the little color in the brochure I didn't care for it but when I saw one at the dealer I felt the brochure didn't do it justice. Actually most of the colors looked so much better in real life.
Thanks for the pics. I hadn't considered that color 'till I saw your. Now it's a real possibility! I'm assuming the box I see in the back is the sliding tool box from Nissan. Is that correct? Is that the only useful purpose for the tracks in the bed? Does any other accessory use them? Also, is the hood protector from the factory as well or is it aftermarket? THANKS!
I think both the Smoke and Silver colors look great on the Titan.(as well as other colors) I like the Smoke but I have had silver vechicles before and I like how silver doesn't show dirt as bad and it doesn't show scratches from tree limbs, dog claws, and rock chips. I had a hunter green GMC before I got my Titan and it looked sharp when new but after a few years every little scratch showed the white undercoating underneath big time. I think that the silver harmonizes with the chrome and headlights on the Titan very well. It seems like most of the promoptional pictures you see of the Titan (including the Titantalk main page) features a Titan in Radiant Silver because it looks so good. However, buy what you like. I couldn't decide between the Smoke and Silver so I told my wife that I would buy the first Titan I could find with the options I wanted in either silver or gray. The Silver showed up first, so I bought it and I am very happy with the color. My advise is choose the color YOU want because you are the one that has to live with it. Don't accept another color just because that's all the dealership had.
Karl,

(sorry if you got this twice)
Thanks, the brochures and web pic's from Nissan don't do the color justice in my opinion. We have a couple of accessories that we use the utilitrack system with; the sliding toolbox and the sliding bed extender. These are just a couple of accessories that you can use but both have already been very useful for us. I also use the sliding bed extender as a cargo divider, rather than spending the extra money on the seperate divider. Here is an accessory site that shows other items you can get for the utilitrack system as well:
I purchased the hood protector and installed it myself as well as the fog light kit and I actually got the fog lights in quicker (15 mins) than the hood protector.
There are many uses for the utilitrack system and there will be many more OEM items comming out in the future to tap into its many useful features.
Thanks a bunch Karl. Could you please clarify one more thing (I'm a little slow). The tracks in the bed (as opposed to the ones in the rails)... are those only for the tool box or does something else use them? The bed extender uses only the side rails, right? THANKS!
No problem Warren, the toolbox and the sliding bed extender actually use the side rails. It only takes a couple of minutes to take both out if you need the room. Right now, the adjustable tie down cleats can be used in the bottom bed rails but that's about it for now. However, I'm sure more accessories will come out for the bottom rails as well.
I am thinking of purchasing a Titan LE, fully loaded. Before I do, however, I need to know that there is a bed cover that works with the Titan or that Nissan is coming out with one. I need a good, water tight, solid cover (A Fold-A-Cover or Retrax) type. Does anyone know if one is available for the Titan?
Is everyone happy so far with the truck?

Bmosbacker,
A.R.E. is the only company that's got one so far...but I don't think it works with Utili-Track. Apparently they're releasing one soon that will work with Utili-Track. It'll be a little while.
