Well I learned one thing about Titan's, they really don't like it much
when you run them head-on into a tree. Now, I'm having electrical
problems that are progressively getting worse. I've hooked the truck
up to a battery booster but the same problems exist.

1) Any idea how to get the truck out of park and into neutral so that
it can be towed. Initially after the accident, I was able to get the car
into neutral but started having problems within 1 hour of the accident
and now I cannot get it out of park.
2) Any idea how to get power to the driver window so that I can put it up.
(or how to put it up manually).

Thanks.

Try this, if you have the steering column shift, theres a tab you can pry up easily with a flat head screwdriver or somesort and when you take it off you can stick the screwdriver down in it and it pushes something down that allows it to go into gear. I had a blown fuse and didnt know it and someone told me about that and I tried it and I got it to go into gear but you have to do it everytime you go back to put it in gear. This is if you have the shifter on the steering column. If not then idk your manual should tell you if theres a way to get it into gear, thats where I also found out for mine.

a correction to what I said, if you do have the shifter on the steering column, the tab to pry up isnt exactly on the shifter itself, lower your steering wheel and look towards the back a little around that area, you should see some sort of tab to lift up and then just push in there with a screwdriver

Thanks for all the replies and assistance. Even the comments
from Tomball Titan. :rollingsm

Anyway, I made a few calls, tried the screwdriver trick and "a late
Christmas miracle" later, a new 2008 Titan SE appeared. :dunno:

I hope that you guys can use this same technique to have your own Christmas miracle.

Thanks.

when the brake fuse blows it disables the shift lock. it is what releases it from park when you step on the brake. i had a bad brake switch on brake pedal on a explorer that caused this problem before:crying:
