Anyone put a lift with new wheels and tires and taken their TPMS out of the stock wheels and installed on the new rims? Can it be done? Is it possible? I have a low tire icon light on my dash. I've got my stock wheels for sale on Craigslist, but pondering taking the wheels to a tire shop and having them take the TPMS about and then install on my new wheels. Any suggestions or comments??

As long as the TPMS will fit on the new wheels, it'll work just fine.

Yep, the old sensors will usually work in the new wheels. However, if they sensors are close to 7 years old (7 to 10 years is their battery's lifespan) I wouldn't bother. Instead, go to Discount Tire and buy a set of their sensors and have them installed there too.

I bought a set of Schrader sensors that were _supposed_ to be OEM direct replacements. Two of them wouldn't respond and one came back with a bogus reading. The Discount Tire sensors have been working good for a couple months now.
