Tonneau cover Pace Edwards Ultragroove Metal for my '17 P4X Gas

Hi All,
Wanted to share with you that after much research, I pulled the trigger on a Pace Edwards Ultragroove Metal tonneau cover. I believe it best suits my needs. I was able to keep my Utility Track and OEM bed divider. No modifications need. So, far so good. It has kept all of my stuff dry and secure. It's a breeze to operate. I am really enjoying it.

How much clearance is there from the floor of the bed to the bottom of the storage box it rolls into? With a 5.5 bed, my 14ft kayak needs every inch it can get, even with a bed extender.

Mine takes up about 10".

I know the nose of the yak rides right under the utility track. Kinda why I was looking at the one that rolls above the bed, but below the bed looks so much better.

How much?

It cost me $1,700. I had some gift cards that I had received which made it less out of pocket for me. I could have gone with the non-metal version which is about $1,200, but for my needs, the metal was best.

Are they only available from dealers and what are the pros and cons on metal vs non metal ?

To my knowledge, they are only available from dealers. The advantages of metal over non-metal is that the metal is stronger.

ON a side note how do you like the bed divider? Was thinking about picking one up.

I have the newest version of the Ultragroove which uses the tailgate lock of the truck to secure its contents. When the tailgate locks, the tonneau cover remains locked.

I like the bed divider a lot. I coach baseball and it helps keep all my equipment (which is a lot) from rolling around and having to tie down everything.
