2008 crew cab non big tow with 305/55-20
With 125000 miles. New tires about 3k ago.
Lately I have been getting some bad chatter type vibrations in the rear end in 5th gear going about 40-45 mph. It seem that this speed it too slow for the truck to pull 5th gear. I pulled the dipstick today to look at the fluid and it's pretty dark and not the vivid red color it should be. Anyone else have an issue like this? I'm hoping it just needs some fresh fluid and not a new torque converter.
