If no one knows from experience, you could disconnect the harness to each mirror and run a test….

 

If you havent seen the directions for such an install a mere unplug would be a royal pia just to see what happens.Unfortunately i cant get ANY info from the dealerships

 

Re tow mirrors and calibration - I’ve been planning on doing a tow mirror install, but this is the first I’ve heard of calibration.

There’s got to be a YouTube video someplace on how to do that.

Just get the tow mirrors with the cameras on them. They exist (at least they used to). The main feature that disappears on upper trim is the power folding feature on the PR model when swapping to tow mirrors. You still get around view 4-camera monitor.

w/ camera: 999L1-W700B $632

Double check with parts department though. I personally think the price difference is worth keeping the 4-camera view operational.

 

You have the right part number ,as i spoke with Z1offroad they want $758.00 only thing is as per install it calls for recalibration i already have the 999L1-W700A sitting in my garage that im not going to install brand new in box anyone local is welcome to them at $450.00

 

I installed the tow mirrors from Z1 on my 2021 Pro4X. It was a plug and play. No adjustments or calibration. Cameras and blind spot work like I never changed and very accurate.

Make sure to slow down enough to reroute wiring harness exactly how the other comes out. If not, you will be left with windows that will only roll halfway down because you left too much slack hanging in door panel lol. I did both sides that way and had to redo! Easy job tho. So you paid the xtra $188.00 camera upgrade

 

I paid the extra for cameras. The A and B are the difference with camera. Just selct that item click drop down select with camera and add to cart. Everything is in that box for you to maintain 360 view and blindspot. Remember you will lose power folding which is not an option period from nissan on tow mirrors. If your like me tho, I always forgot I even had that option. Never used it on my 2500 Ram either and THOSE are tow mirrors lol.

You will really enjoy those mirrors if you tow anything like I do. Makes backing our 26ft tritoon up so much easier. The other mirrors were completely worthless when towing anything tall and boxy. In and out of the truck so many times checking for clearance was a work out and made me miss my mega cab some days for sure. These mirrors made it all better tho!

 

So i installed the new mirrors and it took maybe two hours the only thing is now when i go into reverse the image that shows on the monitor now has a square border lite up that wasnt there before? i will try tp get some pics posted soon

 

I had the black outlines with both mirrors in reverse. It's the start and stop angle for each camera.
