So what do you guys with the tow package think about the tow mirrors? I've been mulling over this part of the tow package. I don't think I'll ever tow something wide enough to really need the extendable mirrors but it's part of the package. I'm curious if you guys get them banged around in the parking lots by people walking between cars or if they're a hassle when parking/driving through tight spots.

I thought I read somewhere that they are retractable. I may be wrong though.

No problems yet mtbendo, and I've been through some pretty tight spots including my 2 car garage...you never know if you'll need to tow something in the future and they'll come in very handy if you ever do. Not only can you see straight down both sides of whatever you're towing but the bottom portion of the mirrors eliminate all blind spots.

They are retractable but they still sit pretty far out there compared with the standard mirror.

Here are four things about Titan mirrors that people awaiting delivery of their Titan with tow package might not know:

1) The mirrors do extend outward to make trailering easier (just pull with both hands)

2) The mirrors will fold back next to the door (nice for parking in tight places)

3) The wide angle portion of the mirror is adjustable ( just move it with your fingers
manually)

4) The mirrors are heated

#2. They fold back in.. Is this by hand, or via electronic switch like the chevys? Also, are they electronically adjustable?

Top portion of the split is power...bottom convex is manual adjust.

Also, to place them to the doors or back to normal is manual.

To extend them for towing is manual (slide out about 6 or so inches more).

I love the Tow mirrors, the wife hates them. So I will need two sets.
