tow pkg and vin number

Naw, I can run your VIN and tell ya if it had a hitch from the factory though. I know we add a hitch to every Titan we get if it don't have one.

I wish every auto company offered the ability to get a copy of the original window sticker from the vin like Ford does. Also wish it was possible to look up TSBs & recalls (both done & required) online. Same with specific part number lookups. Having to go to the dealership to get that info is annoying at best. Guess dealerships wouldn't like it if the general public had all that info, huh?

There needs to be a Sticky called "How do I know if I have Big Tow...."

I agree about the recall stuff from the manufacturer. I even e-mailed Nissan and asked if my truck had any open recalls since I bought it used and they never got back to me.

Nissan Vehicle Recall Form

I have the original window sticker for my T. I have to check again, but I do not believe it mentioned anything about the tow package.
But from what I have extracted from everything, I believe my T does have the tow package.

It is on the rear differential. On the passengers side. Just right there on the side where the drive shaft connects to the diff, lower side. Mine is about to peel off. It is barely hanging on. I just may pull it off and file it away with my truck papers.
