Has anyone noticed the passenger side upper towing mirror magnifies a lot?

This is the first truck I've had with OEM towing mirrors. Maybe it's normal that they do that. Just seems really odd the driver's side is normal and the passenger side is very magnified

Makes it hard to judge lane changes when going right.

Your Titan is a 2017? Mine does not do what your experiencing. I would take it to the dealer and have them look at that.

PS. Are these aftermarket mirrors? If they are then that is probably normal. The older style mirrors some had magnified passenger side which I hated on one of my Ford trucks. I was totally pleased to see on my new Titan that they kept the glass the same on both sides. Makes lang changes simple to judge even without my little mirror detection alert

convex mirror on the bottom that is a big rectangular bar and regular mirror above them. This is a picture of them.

Identical to the ones I have also. Definitely not right that the upper is magnified, take it back.

I'll check a few others in the dealer lot too before I bug them

Do you both have SV's? I noticed the glass mirror is a diff part number on at least the SL.

I have pro4x with tow and conv. pk. and right mirror is not magnified - build date was early '17. I believe SL have different mirror because they tilt down when reversing - or so I've read.

I have the PRO-4X with tow mirrors and they have the option of tilting down when put in reverse. The passage side mirror is not magnified.

That is correct as the SL model which I have does the same in reverse tilts if you set it that way in the settings. I changed the setting to not tilt, I dont see any good in that lol:serious:

Yep....same here. Don't like the tilt down mirror function in reverse. I have a habit of scanning all three mirrors while in reverse and when the mirrors tilt down it throws off my equilibrium. Sounds weird but is what it is.
