Got a class IV from Ebay for $79. Heaviest hitch I've ever installed, had to use an extra pair of hands to hold it while I bolted it on.

Other than rated towing capacities, how are the III and IV different? from pictures, it just looks like the class IV extends further under the truck with an extra pair of bolts.

Just want to make sure I got the right part for my KC XE trailer brake controller harness.

p/n is 24167-7s000 "harness sub"
and the sticker on the harness itself says "elec brake jumper"
wires are:
large black
large red
large brown/white stripe
small red/green stripe
small red/blue stripe.

Before I go drop that dash panel and cut into the harness I just want to verify I have the right part that I am about to go splicing with. There were no other diagrams or supplements with the harness, just a nice transparant baggy that I will keep for years to come.
