We will pick up our Silver Titan 4x4 offroad this saturday! Were excited!
We will be towing a travel trailor with the titan which will weigh est. under 6000# full. Do we need to put atleast 500 miles on the Titan before we begin pulling our trailor this summer...? Also, does anyone know if installing our prodidgy break controller into the Titan is an easy task, or should we have the professionals do this? Thanks for inputs !

Do you have any young childern? If so, they can install the brake controller for you, it's that easy.

Yes, you should wait at least 500 miles before you tow. I waited until we had 1k just to break-in the truck that much further until I couldn't hold out any longer and took a quick test run with it.

Be sure to post some pics of your truck and trailer and let us know how it does on your first trip. By the way, what trailer do you have?

Karl: We have an 04 Terry 25footer, which we had a Tundra (truck we traded in for the Titan) & pulled it fine. Derwud: we have two children, 7yo girl and a 14yo boy. I am sure my son would love to not only DRIVE the Titan, but install the prodigy, i am glad to hear it is not hard. We'll let you know! Thanks for the detailed instructions on the Prodigy, we will post and let you know how it goes! There is MUCH more leg room in the Titan in the back for our kids than the Tundra.

We haven't picked ours up yet but can't wait until we do.
