Thanks for the reply. I'm still wondering how heavy a trailer I can purchase and tow with this truck(everything included, 4wheelers,water gear ect..) Withouttearing something up. I didn't mention it in my 1st post, but besides the trans temp guage I mentioned, there is also a tranny cooler on hear with an electric fan mounted on it. Do they all have the fan and cooler? That gvwr bothers me. Truck has to be around 4000 or more leaving less than 4 grand for tow vehicle and passangers if I'm understanding it correctly. Thanks
I don't care what anyone else who does not have a ToyHauler says, I'm pretty sure you'll want to keep it under 8,000-lbs fully loaded ready to go ACTUAL weight... A Toy Hauler is MUCH different that a Travel Trailer and you can find yourself in a deep hunk of mess really quick with any 1/2-ton if you're not careful... With most Toy Haulers, you really need to watch the Hitch Weight, it's usually a LOT more than a similar TT has and will put your Titan over its payload capacity very quickly...

Do NOT use dry weights, there are too many that are much too low... There are CAT scales available naitionwide, they're only $9 for the 1st weigh then $1 for each additional weigh within the next 24hrs from the 1st weigh. Loufish has been towing with his Titan for a long time and can give you a better idea of what to look for.

Nah, 7,000-lbs all loaded and ready to go will tow fine as long as you get LT Rated tires then use a good WD Anti-Sway Hitch and set it up aggressively.... It makes a huge difference when you're experienced and honest with yourself about the weights, as Lou said... The biggest hurdles are: keeping the actual hitch weight under 1100-lbs, keeping the the TH nose enough heavier than the tail w/o exceeding the payload cap, and then getting decent MPG.... You'll probably be looking at about 200 miles per tank with a 6,500-7,000 lbs TH....

My trailers are all under 6500-lbs so those numbers are more of an estimate based on what others have said around on this forum... Most people have been unhappy with a +8,000-lbs trailer although a couple still continue on, but on another note, most everybody has been pleased with anything under 8,000-lbs.
