maybe you dont have these laying around but know someone who does ?

I need a 7m-gte engine, with 5 speed tranny, ecu all the wires bolt ons to make the motor run ! I am putting it in my 89 yota pickup If your buddys got a mk3 supra that got rear ended or smashed up or its just all beat up and has a good motor I will buy the whole thing if the price is right...

Im willing to pay shipping on the motor but not on a shell... so distance is not a big factor... price must be on the low side if im shipping it... also no jdm please, they do not sell quality anything. Also I prefer the motor be running smooth and the tranny shift nice but if shes knocking and needs a rebuild still send me the info ! ALSO I will send you a finders fee if you hook me up with the motor, once its on my door step ill send you some money or something ? thanks guys ! When I get the motor out, I may build a 4 cylinder go cart with my old 22r 4 speed ! 1 more thing, if anyone locally wants to pitch in on the swap FREE PIZZA AND BEER! heres a pic of the truck its going in !

As a former MK3 Supra owner and a supercharged 2jZ powered IS300. I would suggest you ditch the 7m Idea. That engine sucks A$$. Lot of head gasket/warped head problems. You will have to find one that has been very very well taken care of. I suggest you get on ebay and find yourself a 1JZ-GTE. that came from the later JDM MK3 Supras. If you have some deep pocket then find a 2JZ. Im not sure what tranny comes with the 1JZ. but the R154 that comes with the 7M its not real great either. I had a couple friends try running these on Turbo IS300s with little to no improvement over the horrible 5 speed that came stock in IS.

Try This one.

1jz is over my price range. the 7m is a pretty simple swap the 1jz needs ALOT of mods and money to do. also why do you have a supercharged 2jz versus twin turbo ???

eBay Motors: JDM TOYOTA SUPRA 1JZ GTE TWIN TURBO ENGINE MANUAL TRANS (item 260272141445 end time Aug-17-08 07:56:18 PDT)
Yeah he is right about the heads and minor problems... A few of my boys out here are runnin 7m's and have no problems, 1 has had 4-400 heads and rebuilds cause of silly problems they cant fix.. he is going 1j now. (doesnt help when your running a T67 LOL)

But!!!! I have something for you, I actually have a 90 supra in my garage with the motor dis assembled in a box right next to it. and tranny. motor was taken apart for internal work but I ended up building my RHD rx7 and s13 before the supra... So If you want it ill take pics, EVERYTHING is there in boxes and we could probably deliver cause i need a vacation!

anyways lemme know a price and ill let you know! it would be a good way to do internals. and exactly what you want.

let me know Im in Vegas BTW.

Also ^ I wouldnt twin turbo a 2j, I would single turbo or run a supercharger depending on the response you want/like. I think 2T is just a way to say "I HAVE 2 TURBOS!!!! YOU HAVE 1"
Well being a NA-T conversion i was aiming for reliability ( no overboosting). I also got a good deal on the Kit. But after working the kinks out of the fuel delivery in the SC kit i could have easily gone with a Turbo kit. In the end i learned a lot about SC. I would never do it again on a 2JZ. Granted you have a more linear power band. but, the parasitic losses just zap your peak TQ numbers.

Just remember to go with a metal HG and as long as the head on your 7M isnt warped you should be good. Resurface the block and head. Mabye a 2mm if youre planning on big boost. the key here is to just make sure nothing is warped when buying a used 7M. with many HG problems out there a lot of them have been overheated.

yes Im aware of the head gasket problem and Im also not going to be building or boosting the crap out of it.. I want to mod it a little bit but nothing to serious where I need to swap internals. what kind of numbers are you pushing ? ive never seen a supercharged 2jz

I no longer have the car. The best i put up was 305RWHP on a Dynojet. Running around 8PSI with headers and full exhaust with no cats.

built 2jz with a 80mm blurbo = TITS! I have seen this combo go 9's in the 1/4 and outrun purpose built race cars. then turn on the A/C and drive home on 93 octance fuel. HAH!
