Awhile back the low tire pressure light came on cuz a tire was a little low. After filling it back up to 35psi, the light didn't go off. The dealer said fill it up to 40 and the light would go out, it did, and now the center of the tire is wearing down, confirming it's over inflated state (I had forgotten all about it). Has anyone else had this problem? What are you supposed to do, Overfill the tire, wait till the light goes off and then let the extra air back out?

After adding air you should drive at normal street speeds for a couple of minutes and the light should turn itself off.
