Has anyone had good luck with aftermarket sensors? I hate the thoughts of having Nissan change them. Big dollars.. What did you guys do?

Got mine from Discount Tires during a tire swap. If I recall correctly, around $160 bucks.

"Orange" and "Schraeder" and "Bridgeport" are the OEM Sensor names you want to look up. New Sensors are about $35-45. Dealer is way up to $125 or $150 for part only. Way over priced.

I needed my truck perfect for my daughters driving test a week later; after being in the Trans shop for weeks, so took to dealer. I gave them a new OEM sensor, and they totally forgot i gave it to them. It was on the drivers seat! They quoted over $900 to replace 3 sensors! I reminded them of the one free sensor and argued some more, dropped the name of a certain up and coming lady I know who over sees all the parts and service depts in our local dominating chain. Got out of there for $500 instead of $900. Still have occasional errant warning. Waste of money.

I replaced a few sensors years ago for stuck metal caps or hit a curb. It has always been a total waste of likley $1K or more. I never had a flat in 10 years.

I bought a set of Schraeder sensors off of Amazon that were supposed to be a direct fit. I think only one of them was working. Sent them back and went over to Discount Tire. No problems with those.

I am about to get all new ones from Discount. They were 60 a piece installed.

That's about twice what I paid.

I honestly don't remember what I paid. I was having them swap winter and summer tires/wheel combos. One of the sets of wheels was new to me and the TPMS in it were bad, so Discount wouldn't install the wheels (they couldn't legally, I was told). So they put new TPMS in when they installed the tires on that set. Whatever the price they quoted was, they came down $10 bucks a piece. That's really all I remember.

Is there a relearning procedure when you swap summers/winters? I can't see anything in the manual. I have a set of rims with winters on them from my GM that I plan to run when the snow flies.

No, it's a little archaic. My wife's 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan lets you initiate the relearn through the onboard menu system. All you need is a magnet to trigger the sensors. Very easy compared to the Titan.

Well my plan to use my 17" rims with studded snow tires is dead. I got looking at the Titan and the front brakes are huge...18" rim is as small as a guy can go. Soooo...I found some take-off rims exactly the same from another 2017 Titan and bought em up. Wondering, what happens if you don't install the TPMS in these wheels? Permanent dash light? Or will the computer give up and let a guy run em? I'm under water on winter tire $$$ here and I'm trying to be cheap...lol.

The computer will not give up! It is relentless about displaying a warning. There are _some_ 17" aftermarket wheels that will fit the new brakes.
