Hi all
I have a 2005 titan se 4x4
when I plug in the trailer light plug my brake lights and blinkers work on the trailer but not the tail lights.
not a ground issue I have now power in the plug and the wireing is good
are there different relays and fuses for each trailer light brake blinker tail

Never heard that one before, you sure your lights aren't just burnt out? Did they work before with trailer connected?

2005 may have a separate fuse added up above the steering column.

They are dual filament bulbs. Could be that the filament that serves the tail lights is gone in both. That wouldn't affect the brake or turn signal which are both served by the other filament.
Easy to check, just look at the bulb.

i had to periodically clean the spade contacts in my 7 pin connector. they would get tarnished and not connect well to the 7-4 pin adapter. i just cut down an emery board to fit the slot and used that to scuff them up a bit.

Look at the back of the 7 pin on your bumper and locate the brown wire (at the 10 o'clock position) Turn on your lights and use a volt meter/multimeter or 12 volt test light.....if you're using a meter...black lead to ground, red to the wire. If using a test light, clip to ground, point of tool to wire. Got 12 volts? Yes....trailer has the problem. No, start tracing back on the truck harness.

Definitely check all the contacts in your connection as well as check bulbs, when in doubt use new bulbs.
Check fuses. If you have time, and none of these bear fruit, a trailer dealership should have a tester on hand that can check your trailer without being connected.
Oh.. and it's stupid, and it may just be me, but my truck has to be completely off before I connect the trailer.

On my 09, there is a separate fuse block for the towing package. Perhaps a relay is out? Though it wouldn't make sense that only one set isn't working. Mind you, I'm a fan of replacing fuses en masse. When you go into your block, there will be a little "map" under each cover.
Additionally, I believe there's a sticky with them around the forum somewhere. If you tested the actual connector on the truck, then I'd go back to fuses and relays.
