If wiring 6 or 7 pin trailer connectos gets a little confusing for anyone (like me), then I found a great set of photos, not just diagrams, with color coded wires on Etrailer. These ended my confusion about what wire goes where on the connectors. The first diagram I had was very confusing with pin 1 on the vehicle being ground and pin 1 on the trailer being electronic brakes. Then I found the Etrailer explanations along with a lot of questions answered. Check it out.
