I just called my local tranny shop and he said 570. Is that a good price?

My local AAMCO shop quoted me $180.

But, prices apparently vary based on the whims of the shop. I've been quoted $650 for my TrueTrac locally, and found an experienced shop in Dallas that quoted $250.
having it done in a shop is going to be hit or miss...Its really all according to the shop and if they are familiar with the Titan tranny...

If the shop is familiar with them they will be less in price simply because the shop knows exactly what they are getting into. If the shop has never even cracked open a Titan tranny they will give higher prices cause they have no idea what kind of job they are getting themselves into.

Myself personally, I would do it myself but im not afraid to tackle things like that. Plus I have access to a garage with a lift, and any tool I could ever imagine.
Yeah I wish I had that. That would be so nice. Ok I will keep looking around
Look for a shop that specializes in "drivelines and gears". That's how I found a shop that had the lowest price and the most know-how.

Wait, that's for Truetrac, not Transgo. Sorry.
Ok cool thanks guys that helps I will do some research this weekend
