2012 Titan with 40,000 miles. 3" leveling kit front, 1.5" back, with 33" tires. Nissan dealership blames lift/wheels for transmission failure. Rough Country says neither the lift or tires are cause for trans failure. Dealership suggests gearing & tuning. Should I be concerned if I don't heed their warning? Or, is it likely just a bad trans?
I've been lifted since 2006 and just over 100k on the lift. Long tubes, high flows, and tuned for about 30k. No transmission issues. I drain and fill the tranny every 5th oil change (5k intervals). YMMV.
