This weekend, while driving on dry highway with temperatures in the low 20's, I experienced what I would describe as a slip or disconnect in the transmission.
While maintaining a constant speed with minimal pressure on gas peddle, 5-6 times in a 30 minute drive, it felt as if the transmission disengaged.
I immediately brought it to the dealer (still have active extended factory warranty) to diagnose.
As you can image, it happened only once for the tech while he took it out. No codes, no slip indicator, nothing.
After two days in the shop, I went on a road test with the tech. Wouldn't you know, it hasn't happened again.
They were blaming my tires but they have 7,000 miles on them and this issue only started showing up in the last month.
Any ideas?

Check your trans fluid for coolant contamination.
