My local audio shop where I get all my car audio stuff just got these in today and I'm curious about how they perform. I'm looking for input on the SSi series....

Thanks in advance.

I had a customer in the past use some but they were not like that. They sounded o.k. Nothing great . Depends on the price. If they are inexpensive i would try them for sure.

Thanks, the guys at the shop haven't heard them yet either and the owner wasn't in today so I wasn't able to get a price.

I'll be ordering a single 12" box from you shortly once I figure out which sub to go with.:D
Treo is allright. The only ones I have heard were geared toward SPL.
What would you guys recommend then for a single 12" in a tech12volt box powered by a Alpine MRP-M450 amp?
I would do a Boston Acoustics G112. Buy a dual 4 ohm sub for sure so you can run the amp at 2 ohms. You'll have a lot more options if you go with a 10" sub do to mounting depth issues.

Well I do have 2- MTX 5500 series 10's sitting in my garage from my old system in the Z?
Those are going to be tough to fit. I think they are over 6" deep correct?

top-mount depth: 6-1/8"
They will fit if you want to save some money. What do they have for voice coils.
