Okay so me getting my taxes back and I have a choice between Headers or Tru Trac. I have an 06 2wd Titan Flex Fuel. I can't decide on which one I want, as my only reason on holding back on headers is i'm not mechanically inclined much so i'm not to sure how install would go or if I would just end up paying someone else to install which is gonna be expensive if I ended up doing that. I already have CAI, Pipes, and UpRev. Which one do y'all think would be better?

Tru trac is most likely an auto or gear shop install. Headers are straight bolt on and you can put them on in your driveway. A tru trac install is way more involved with setting pre load and backlash etc. Both are great upgrades and will awaken the beast!

Headers, Uprev and Bpipes should all be bought at once for a proper running truck then you will need Tru Trac from all the power gained.

Is it true you can get away without using uprev if you are flex fuel?
It depends. You would still need to monitor your AFR, to make sure you're not running lean in anywhere through the power band. I ran 93 octane to be safe but I ran rich with headers.

Flex fuel trucks usually run a little rich which is safer than lean but if you have cats it will prematurely kill the cats like the cracked manifolds do. Best to get tuned asap.
