Newbie here...:nerd:

I have a 2005 Nissan Titan. This problem started about 6 months ago. If I fill my gas tank up all the way and top it off...I make it down the road
about 5 to 10 miles then the truck dies, sputters and dies again with no codes. I simply just start it back up in Neutral and off I go. It may die again
20 miles down the road with same symptoms. After than I'm good for the rest of the tank? I stopped topping it off and it's done better but today
I just died again probably about mid tank full. I just put it back in neutral and rev the engine up to 3000 rpm until it starts running smooth again.
Any ideas I can look at first and take care of myself? Hate to take it to dealership...they will probably rape me in the garage first and then
keep me coming back for seconds and thirds when I realize they didn't fix it the first time around. Thanks!

For starters, don't top it off. You are probably getting fuel back around into the evaporative system. The first time that pump stops should be the last gas you put in the tank. I think you should try a new way of filling it for a while, see if you can drive off anything that's become contaminated in the evap system, before doing anything else. There is a valve that you can pull off the system - takes about 30 seconds, and you can make sure it's not sticking, which it might be if it's had gasoline sucked into it.
