Truck was insulted at work

At work, everyone knows what I drive. Everyone calls it, "the big black truck," lol...

Last night at work, as I am getting out of my truck from eating my lunch, a co-worker just so happens to be stepping out of his NNBS Silverado EC. He then asks to see the inside of my interior as he has never seen them. I said sure, and opened up my front drivers door. My truck is an LE crew cab with the works, I have a double din up-front, and keep my truck spotless. I usually get a "oh nice, or clean interior," but not from this guy. He continues on by saying, oh, your interior is pretty small. LOL I just about laugh at him, and say, yeah, but it gives me plenty of room I need. Then, he continues on by saying, oh what is this again? A frontier right? I said no, it's a Titan, and he plays it like he didn't even know. He continues to go on and says how small the truck is, and it looks just like a Frontier LOL. I was going to correct him, but this is the same guy who wants a 12" lift up front and 5" lift in the rear so he can pre-runner his trruck lol...I chuckled, shut the door, and said yeah, youre truck will "look" good...lol I guess he wanted the "so-cal mobbin' status"

Is it just me, or do I take that as an insult? Ignorant truck owner? lol

Sounds like he wasn't actually smart enough to insult you.
Sucks to be him.

He probably is jealous. He kept commenting on how small my truck was, and I looked at my truck, then looked at his, and was like, yeah, it's pretty small...lol
Any man that has to insult another man's things is either jealous or insecure.

That was his way of covering up his jealousy by stating the opposite of the truth. It's textbook inferiority complex. See it every day.

Ha, funny story .... I actually had a guy at work do preey much the same thing to me .. Funny thing was he knew everything about the Frontier .. But go figurer he has a like early 2000 F350, that he pretty much wants to "pre-runner" with a 6" ***-tech lift and some blocks .... I personally HATE the rear dropped that low, it just looks stupid .. and you want to be bigger than you really are .. hahaha

That was Jealousy to the maximum. If he wanted to insult you, he would've asked questions... If you was trying to belittle you, he would've bragged about his... He was clearly jealous of the cabin space and amenities, so his response was the opposite of the reality... ^^^ I agree with Mikey, now he's all grown up, he needs to boost his own self esteem...

put down the hateraid brah

One of the reasons I bought the Titan was the abundance of interior space.... something my '10 Silverado rental lacked severely, especially with two child seats in the back. Even my son noticed and couldn't wait to have the TITAN back.. he's only 3!

I have to admit I tend to mistake Frontier's for Titans when coming up behind them... they look nearly identical except for they have solid rear windows and are a little smaller. Overall it's not a bad thing because a Frontier is a large mid-sized truck and very good looking. As for interior space he must have been smoking something. The Titan's interior is massive. I'm 6'4" and can fit completely comfortably in the back seat with my front seat in the same position I drive in. Can't say the same for my Father's '06 F-150. I've never sat in the back seat of the newer GM trucks so I can't compare, but from just looking at them I'd say the only thing bigger than a Titan's cab is the Ram Mega-cab.

I had a guy at work e-mail a pic like this to me... I took it as a compliment to be considered "inadequate" and told him "So you noticed?" as I laughed my a** off... It's ALL in good fun IMHO....

They are spacious too, but I wanna say we still have them in overhead space... My buddy's got one and it is definitely roomy, but the way their seats are, the cabin still appears congested.

^^^ Love ya POPS!!!
My window sticker for my 2007 states "Largest Interior of any Full Size truck" which since 2007 may have changed, however it's still a big truck. WAYYYY bigger than a Frontier. Besides, he drives a newer Chevy. He shoulda bought a 2011 F series or a Ram. Then he'd have something to brag about. An "Avalanche"?? come on those trucks are lame and the new Chevys are on the bottom of the "Big 3". So yeah, if it makes him feel better...

At my work, I got LOTS of compliments on my truck when I bought it. From all different kinds of people who drive all different kinds of vehicles. Maybe the real question isn't if your truck was insulted, but why do you work with such a d-bag??
think thats bad?!! I had a coworker ask me today " so how does that Ford handle in the snow?!" I almost kick him in the groin with my steel toe boots for calling the T a ford....
As a Pimp Named Slickback would say, "Let the Hater hate. It's his job."
