Ok, I've looked over about 85% of the site and can't find a solution, so here goes. As most of you have had snow this year I have too. I was trying to spin the driveway up and making it most of the way up in 2wd then stopping shifting into 4lo and heading on up. about the 4th time I did this my abs light came on and the B-lsd light both came on when I stopped to put it in 4lo, I heard the 4x4 solenoid under the dash start to ingage but nothing most of you know it makes a couple of clicks but, no four wheel, only one wheel spinning. so... i backed off the driveway and went on in to work. Later that evening I attempted to get as far up the driveway as i could and I had decided if I didn't make it I would just hook a chain to my other vehicle and pull it on up then. well i made it up most of the way and then had to stop. hooked up the chain and started pulling the truck on up. noticed a ses light flash on then off then after about 30 secs my throttle stopped working completely. Well got the truck on up and parked, at this time the truck would only idle but it was idling and starting back. the next day went out to start the truck and it would turn over and growl but would die in like 2 secs. Will not start. It's throwing several trouble codes like power module, 2 throttle codes, and one power steering trouble code according to the internet after reading it with a code reader. The truck has plenty of gas, plenty of juice on the battery, tried the idcm relay trick, no luck. ANY ideas would def be appreciated as I live 2 hours from the closest dealer. Thanks.

There are flanges on the sides of the front diff where the CV shafts bolt up. Look and see if there is any separation between the flanges and the diff housing. Also look for gear oil leaks in that vicinity.

kinda sounds like your ECU went tits up. throwing that many codes and not engaging 4lo. did it engage 4hi, or did u even try that? was it driving funny before this at all? Any SES light before this?

It just sounds like too many things to go wrong at once. does ur power steering work if its throwing a code?

The harness runs down passenger side frame rail and goes over frame rail right above flange. If its melted you will have to replace or repair it. Also i have seen it short out the right wires and burn ecm requiring replacement of ecm. The harness if you replace it your self is less than 200$ and should take you less than a day. But remember to take it right over and get exhaust fixed or you burn another harness.

well, turns out my exhaust did get the wiring harness at the muffler flange. so i guess i'll get me a new harsness and computer as it probably got it too. Does anyone know if the wiring is a multiplex system or if i might be able to splice the wiring on the rear harness to at least get it going to see if i need the computer?

Is exhaust tail pipe broken at flange? If it is you need to check wiring harness above it.
u are a master tech to get that one right on. Can u tell me why my back end feels like it hops around 45 mph when i hold steady on the throttle? If i shift to 4 or 3 it goes away. im thinking broken trans mount.

OP i have no clue. Make a new thread on it and u will probably get a responce pretty quick.
