trying to decide on tonneau cover

hello guys, I have an 06 se kc 4x4 and I want a fiberglass tonneau cover for it. I am debating over a leer or a.r.e. cover. Anyone have either of these or any other brand and if you do, how do you like it?

I have a top dawg cover. I's a bifold and has locks in the front and back. It removes easu and only weighs 45 lbs. The nonpainted black matches the oem black pefectly. It's paintable from the factroy. I piad 650 for mine. Do a search and you wil find a bunch, Mine works with the utliti trac perfectly.

If you got the bucks go with a Lazerlite! Love mine. Many compliments. Wonderful Company. http://lazerlitecovers.com/ When you order you deal directly with the owner/operator of the company. Great guy.

I need to get a tonneau cover for my new red titan crewcab SWB. THink I'll go with black. What is the best? Undercover?
im new to the site but my truck is completely laid out, from top to bottom. i had a tonneau cover from nissan i should have saved my money the zippers don't last to long,,, with that said i purchased the a.r.e lsx which i think is the best far as a clean truck line goes,,the ls2 has a molded line around it... if you go to 4are.com you can get a coupon for your local dealer.... i will put more pics of my truck up later.....here is my truck but this is before the a.r.e lid and led tail lights....enjoy and thank you ww.cardomain.com/ride/2165370

That black and red is gonna look nice be sure and post some pix cause I want one but I'm too broke:futwice:
hey demaamc19, what did that a.r.e. lid cost you? I priced one the other day and it was around 940. I had an a.r.e. on my last truck but it was the lsII-they didnt have the lsx back then. I like the lipless feature of the lsx better than the lsII.
I personally have the ARE LSX and the lines it adds to the rear end of the Trauck are very nice. The functionality of either are the same so go for the looks

Search this on EBAY...item number 170168583164 Aux iPod input cable for Nissan Titan, only 3.99
This looks like the most versatile, can you stand on it? Also, can you lock the rear panel open with the tailgate up for surfboards or long lumber?
thanks,
I've had an ARE for three years.

I'm using an Extang Trifecta much much cheaper than most, water tight, very light, folds up for different settings, locked when the tailgate is closed....
See link in Sig for pictures :)

Ohhh and I paid $306 delivered about a month ago...

AF Medic, how watertight is the Top Dawg? Nice Titan by the way.
i havent got mine for my titan yet but i had an extang tuffteuno cover suppors up tp 300 lbs. that is very good for a vinyl cover fold up easy very quick only problem with it is if you need to fold it up it takes 2 people got mine for $250.00 that is what im leaning towards for the titan
Has anyone used the "Extang Sabor Tonno", or the "Tuff Tonno?" I like that they are not snaps or velco, but still decently cheap $223. I might be in the market for a Tonneau to save some mpg's and I am looking for an inexpensive solution without snaps or velco if possible.
