Has anyone had any luck getting TSB's and associated problems covered after warranty has expired or are we just SOL?

Not that it's a big deal or expense but, I had the dealer replace my leaky radiator cap for the 2nd time....no charge and I have 39k. There was a TSB for them a while ago. Which TSB are you refering to? On the o4s (and I think some 05s), the brakes are covered for 3 years unlimited mileage for brake judder. I think most other TSBs would be your dime unless you yell loud enough.

Thanks HVT, actually, my 04 has proven itself over and over. I must have just gotten lucky. No leaking axle seals, a little brake judder at 14k, had it "repaired", and a couple of dash rattles and window regulator thingys, all in all very good ownership experience and would definitely buy again!

The reason I was asking; just in case I go out tomorrow to leaking seals or something else(like the door issue) or whatever, didn't know if the TSB's extending anything as far as timeline on warranty for issues that Nissan obviously had prior knowledge of.

Well unless you're over 60,000 miles, the rear axle and diff (including the seals of course) are still covered under the warranty. If you're over 60k, I'd make SURE they changed it on their dime considering the known problems some have had.

Thanks for the heads up.
