I just got a k&n and a stillen exhaust for my 2020 pro 4x and want to tune it to get the most out of it. I have the pedal comander on the way to take care of the launch lag but I notice this truck seems to power down untill half way through first then you feel all the power come on. I am wondering if there is a way to tune these trucks. Also want to delete the speed gov for those shtf moments.

Last I heard from Uprev was that their new tuning software/system would be out by SEMA...which is early November. I imagine they want to show off the new stuff for the show...I pushed hard to get that info from them last month. For almost a year I was told "soon" and "working bugs out". I have headers for my 21 and have been waiting on tuning for a looooooooong time so I can install them.

Wait for the Pedal Commander to arrive, it made a huge difference and well worth the cost. I’ve had mine over four years now.

I got a set of JBA long tubes before they went extinct...not really expecting much out of them tho. Really not out for crazy power...my other car does that for me. I am curious to see what the tuners can do with the 9 speed...heck it took Nissan months to get a update for the 2021's...and it still isn't perfect.

What speed does the governor kick in. i have been over 100 in mine and didn't hit a governor but i wasn't trying to find it. just trying to get out of the way

Night and day. I was able to raise the rev limiter and remove the speed limiters.
They also had a setting to make the throttle body linear to the pedal position at any speed. Only catch to that is you lose cruise control functionality. I did the tuning myself. There were settings that I wasn’t sure of and there was not really any good documentation from UpRev on it. I’m sure it could have been better by a pro.

Are you in a vehicle safe to go over that? Speed rated tires? I think not. It's not a car. It's a big, heavy aerodynamic brick.

Ever been chased by a guy with a gun and your car is pinned top speed on the freeway at 105 and his is topped out at 104.5?

I dont want to travel that fast I just want to be able to if need be in an emergency.
Fyi the truck is solid on a bad road at 100 set on cruise.

You’re missing the big point, the government doesn’t want you to touch your vehicles. Some states mandate no loud exhaust anymore. Telsa can see everything you do with your car including including top speeds, how far at that speed, hard launches and on and on. All these garbage EV’s that are getting shoved down the public’s throats will be traceable so they can do software upgrades over the air etc.
Things are a changing…

Are you really serious? Who and why would someone be chasing and shooting at you to even remotely need a 100 plus mile per hour chase?
I swear this is either a put on, a troll or a very young owner. My SRT Challenger can do 185 and I’ve never hit 100 in it yet.
You’re driving a 5500 pound brick, not a sports car.

Naw not a kid. I'm in the gold and silver business and I have to where a gun all day as my "401k" is on display in the show cases every day. Like I said I'm not looking to blast down the road at over 115 on the regular but want the ability to because of my high-risk career. Hopefully if there ever was someone chasing me or my family their car would have a governor on it. I would rather avoid a gun fight at all costs, but I'm also equipped and trained to deal with one if left with no other options and life is at stake.

you can buy used toyota executive suvs with the bullet proof kits still on them. they are sweet but probably not fast and get bad gas mileage
