I just purchased a 2014 nissan titan pro4x luxury package with nav. When i exit the vehicle the drivers seat goes all the way back which squishes my sons car seat which is very annoying.

The manual says i can turn it off through the nav but theres no such option. I also read on other posts that holding the set button for 10 secs will turn it off but it didnt work.

Any ideas?

I turned mine off on the Nav screen.

I'm going to look into that, just 'cause I am the only driver and it's probably easier on the battery.

Checked the manual, for my '15 it says "dealer can turn off...". I'm guessing it changed sometime since '07.

Would anyone know how to turn off this feature in an 04 without Nav?

I have a 2015. After trying to find instructions in the manual and the service desk guy telling me to read the manual, which I did and read to him it said go to the dealer, a very nice tech did it for me while hooked up to his tablet. EVen he had problems because it was very vague in his directions on his tablet. So go to the dealer. I didn't want to wear out the seat motor. I get in and out a lot.
