Yes, do these reduce mid-truck ground clearance? if you could do a broadside photo of your truck from about 50 feet away, we could get a sense for it. you could also measure the ground clearance and compare that to the lowest part of the truck inboard.

Towhook, I asked the question on Amazon and here are the replies:

Yes, pretty much all step sides will effect ground clearance a little as they attach to the bottom of the frame, however the way these are made they basically double as rock sliders.

They hang about an inch lower than the forward fuel tank bracket which looks to be about the lowest point on the truck.

Not Really.

If you're asking if they will rub when crawling over rocks, then yes it will affect it a little bit.

No axles are lower than these.

No more than any other typical running boards... I had the Pro4X so it was a bit higher than the standard truck. Also look super sweet and I haven't seen them on another truck since I purchased, so there is also the 'unique / exclusive' factor to consider... not every Tom, **** and Harry will be sporting these babies!

as far as affecting ground clearance. They do and they don't depending upon what you are asking. As far as them being the lowest point anywhere under the truck, no, they don't affect it as the rear axle is the lowest thing. they do affect it under the center of the truck by about 3 inches. What that does is then affect your break-over angle. That is the angle made by the front of the back tires and the rear of the front tires to the midway point in between to the lowest hanging thing, which these are. I did the math and with these on my 2020 pro4x, i went from 21.7 degrees to 18.7degrees. A stock jeep gladiator 4x4 has 18.5 degrees. So i don't feel to badly about this. i don't rock crawl my 4x4s but do frequent a remote spot in mountains that has some hills and dales. Once i break her in, i will report back.
