Installed last night. Sorry pics are dark. Would have been installed sooner but had to wait for them to send me new rails and hardware. Undercover's default for the 2017 Titan half ton is WITH Utilitrac. Mine happens to NOT have Utilitrac thus the new rails and hardware. Fitment is pretty good overall with a little adjustment. I think the low-pro tri-folds look badass. I washed the truck with it on and only had minimal water intrusion at the tailgate corners.

Ok, supposed to be getting mine installed tomorrow. Called 4 undercover dealers and only Linex guy said they could get one. So hoping he comes thru. Said he just put one in for the local dealer here. Everyone else told me they weren't avail le until mid to late January

Well, was supposed to get it on yesterday. Got some ice and decided to push it back to their next soonest which is Wednesday. Eww.

Should I treat all that rubber on there with something with some SPF? Like some Adams VRT?

Dammit. They can't install my undercover flex because they have to reverse the utilitrac system and some of the bolts can't be backed out without cutting in to the truck or removing the side panel of the truck. Off to the dealer I go!

I dealt with undercover directly. They will tell you what you need. Don't ask the dealers they don't know ****. I installed mine with a socket wrench fits perfect.

What ended up being the issue? You have the track system correct?

So, the flex requires you reverse the track system. Take it off and flip it upside down. Well, when they tried to remove all the bolts 1 was cross threaded, closest to tailgate. They couldn't remove it without drilling thru behind the tail light. No way I was gonna let that happen. Had to go back to dealer for them to remove. Not even sure how they did it. They showed me the bolt. It was missing roughly 4 threads.

Once that was taken care of, everything was gravy. I really like it so far.

Looks good! I had an Undercover Flex on my Frontier for years and loved it. I am confused though...when I call Undercover they told me that they only offered the "Ultra" flex for the Nissan half ton. My local dealer confirmed that as well. It costs a couple hundred bucks more for a flat matte black finish and a carpeted underside. It does allow you to close the tailgate without opening the cover but I suspect it will leak more. Any ways you will be very happy with your flex cover. I will post pics of the ultra as soon as I am able.

Hhrrrrmmmm strange...I'm not sure why they would tell you that as they are essentially the same thing minus carpet. I dealt directly with UnderCover after I ordered from realtruck.com and they told me the opposite, that only the FLEX was available at the time. I can close the tailgate on my mine with the cover down too.

My Titan has the utilitrack system. If I order the Ultra/Flex for the non-utilitrack model can I flip the utilitrack rails to retain their use with the cover?

Dude this is so easy to do and not at all true. use an impact drill with the right bit, they back out like a normal screw.. flip it over and screw them back in.
literally just did it 2 days ago myself
